Coinbase stated that in the near future on GDAX will not be added any new crypto currency. Recall that at the moment the company supports only Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Litecoin.
Due to the large number of rumors that Coinbase and GDAX are planning to add Ripple tokens, the representatives of the exchanges decided to officially deny this information:
“At the time of this announcement, we have not decided whether to add additional assets to GDAX or Coinbase. Any statement to the contrary is void and not authorized by the company. ”
Last year, the Digital Asset Framework GDAX outlined the main criteria that the stock exchange plans to adhere to when deciding whether to add new assets.
To date, the cost of Ripple tokens is growing rapidly, in less than 3 weeks its rate has risen from $ 1 to $ 3.30. Since December 31, 2017, Ripple is confidently holding the position of the largest altcoyin in the market, so adding it to trading platforms can be quite promising.
